GO!Īnd it’s gonna take every one of those and it’s going to save em and then it’s going to create a Zip File and I can just download them all at once. I’ll choose Upload and you’ll watch it uploads every one of those files, every one of those very large pictures and then I can scroll down a little more, I can say how big I want to make it (about 50% as big in this case) and I’m gonna say batch resize. I’ll scroll down here, it has em here ready for upload. Now I can just highlight them all, see how they’re all selected and hit Open. So I click Add Files and I’m gonna choose all of em. It comes up and says Ok enter all the pics you want to make smaller. I won’t show you this one but it just reduces the options and does it really, really quick! Now keep in mind that the way this free site makes its money is through advertising. But when you look at the file size, it’s a huge saving! So it optimized it a little as well. What this system did was it took it down to about half the size. You’ll notice that the original picture was 1024 pixels wide by 768 pixels tall. So when you’re ready to go, just hit I’m Done, Resize My Picture! And in the majority of cases, that’s the only button I press on this screen.Īll said, all done, it’s now ready to download. And believe it or not, you can even say the file can be no bigger than a certain file size and it will automatically handle it for you. You can choose what kind of a file you want to save it as, I’ll just choose JPEG. You can also add special effects if you want. But really when it comes down to it on how small you want to make it, you just kind of have to play with it until you find the size that you like. And it asks me how small I wanna make it? I can drop this list down and tell it. In other words, you can try out cutting out certain pieces just by drawing a square, rotating it etc.īut really what I’m gonna do is I’m just gonna make it smaller. In fact I can just scroll down and do the deal. I then hit continue and at this point it gives me options. So I pick this pretty picture of Penguins, hit Open and you’ll notice that it’s listed here. I’m going to choose Pictures and I’m going to use one of the sample ones that Microsoft gives me. I’m gonna click Browse and I’m gonna go find the photo. Basically all you have to do is take the photo and drag and drop it on to this area or you can click Browse and go find it.
